Long course description

Starting at Lake Wartook, the kayak leg involves three laps in the southern end of the lake. The mountain bike leg heads out along the eastern escarpment of the Grampians along primarily gravel tracks, the only exception a small section of asphalt. After looping back to near the bike start, the course follows a 4wd track down to the Zumsteins Picnic area where the transition area is located. The run leg follows the MacKenzie River upstream past the Fish Falls and then the spectacular MacKenzie Falls before heading back to the finish at Lake Wartook.
